My jaw dropped when Insanely Pampered Hollywood Dogs aired on E! the other night. Valentino's 5 pugs get their teeth brushed and bodies perfumed by an attendant every morning. Apparently, dogs can also get braces for crooked incisors, and some dogs prefer pink rubber bands over the tooth coloured ones. And dogs can get eye lifts and skin tightening. The former was for a Shar-pei whose eye lashes inverted to poke its eyeballs and the latter for a bulldog with such deep skin folds on its neck that there was a chronic infection. At least those are semi reasonable.-----
